How can I make a small acne break out on the face go away?
Jessika asked:
My skin is pretty clear, but every now and then, I will get small break outs on the forehead, nose, or cheek area. I make sure I wash my face twice a day. I know you can use acne spot treatments and I do. Is there anything to help my skin other than face products? Also, does sugar make your face break out?

Sugar and chocolate do not cause acne. That is a myth.
You can also help along a new breakout by applying some calomine lotion or toothpaste (not the gel kind) to it before you go to bed. This will dry it out, bring it to a head, and remove the redness before you wake up in the a.m.
No it’s a myth that food products make you break out.
Using any product with benzoyl peroxide can help.
get a warm cloth and place it on top of the acne and do not remove for 37 sec. tops!!! then remove and wash face with cold water and the results should be seen instantly…the results that the acne is gone or has been much reduced!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to get lots of pimples on my chin area. When I went on the “Diane” contraceptive pill, my pimples cleared up somewhat, but I still wasn’t satisfied.
I use Clearasil daily blackhead control and thought it was fantastic. I don’t usually rate over the counter medications very well, but was surprised to see this work in clearing up pimples.
put some windex on it
Something I find helps a lot with mild acne is Tea Tree oil. It gets rid of the infection and helps dry it out a bit. Products that contail benzocain (sp?) or acetic acid also help.
Sugar will not make your face break out, but some other things will, like wearing foundation make-up that clogs the pores, or sometimes you’ll just get them just before your period. If you notice that everytime you do a certain thing, or eat a certaing thing, it causes you to have a break out, then there’s a possibility that it could cause it.
use a face cleanser twice a day, but it has to have alcohol in it, otherwise it won’t work to well.
Make the paste of Rakta-chandan ( sandalwood ) and Turmeric with milk, and apply it over the pimples. More home remedies available at
Hi,
it’s important to inform yourself first before buying any wrong solution. Products like e.g. accutane or proactiv (and those pills doctors prescribe) are aggressive and can cause damages to you and your skin since they contain harmful ingredients.
Your best bet would be to check out
This is one of the very few products out there which really treats the acne problem at its roots from inside and out, no matter which kind of acne you have. Without damaging your skin, all natural and endorsed by doctors and herbalists.
I’ve literally wasted hundreds on other “miracles” but this one is highly efficient and that’s what only counts for me. It should also help you get rid of your acne in a breeze.
Hope that helps.
All the best,
Melinda
