What actually works? I’m a male 14 year old, and I struggle with acne. What acne treatment actually WORKS. I wash my face every night and morning and also, I have hair that covers my forehead and comes down my face. Does long hair contribute to acne? Anyways, please give me some tips to get rid of it.

    try the Burts bees acne stick. It works great and clears your skin quickly. You can get it at most pharmacies and Wal-mart and Target. About $7-8

    ok im fourteen also, i suffer from acne also. i have used proactiv, acne free, and just washing my face with soap and water. NONE OF IT WORKED, so i turned to stridex maximum strength, it works!!! try it, its the only thing that works for me. also your hair could be contributing to it, because it adds oil to your skin and holds it in.

    hair will get oily just like your skin so more likely it will not contribute to acne as much as it will be uncomfortable or look stringy and get greasy.

    There isn’t such thing as an acne treatment that works for EVERYONE.
    because everyone has DIFFERENT skin, you have to try different products.
    Have you ever heard one person raving about a certain product, & then another person saying it didn’t work at all?
    That’s because they both had different skin, & therefore it didn’t work for both of them.
    Go to a dermatologist & he or she will help rid of acne the faster way, so you won’t have to try as many products. :)
